I do a lot of work in sales. Media sales. I help people do things like move inventory, increase revenues, rollout a new product, win extra market share, build value and increase margins for a product or service. (bizcomnews) Most of the decision makers I talk to pay close attention to the news on the economy. They want every source of confidence they can get, or every advantage – such as knowing which of their target buying industries are doing the best.
So I picked up a Houston sunday Chronical editorial section yesterday, picked the big economy article and started reading it. (article). As I was reading, I was thinking in the back of my mind: pretty good article, kind of complicated, I really should be reading that Sandy Leeds blog everyday – at this time, the only source I feel good about.
Twice in the last 2 years I have attended a presentation by Sandy Leeds on the economy. He manages the McCombs School of Business fund, which is a significant portfolio in dollar value and diversity. With a great record, I might add.
Anyway, I got about half way through the article I was reading and I was thinking it was quite well-written, researched and logical. So I looked up in the corner to see who this author was and it said: SANDY LEEDS
Pretty cool. I attended the Spring McCombs MBA conference a year ago and was impressed with his perspective, then our Houston alumni group got him here to Houston, where he impressed again. Proud to be a part of that group - we bring in good people! check out www.leedsonfinance.com and subscribe.
